Over the weekend of 21 – 23 April
the Society held its 11th study weekend and 10th on the campus of
York St John’s College.
The content for the weekend was centred around the Logge Wills, the major transcription project undertaken by the Society and which will be published later in the year.
The talks were themed around a selection
of the testators and their bequests and included:

Clerical,
Medical and Litigators: wills of those who cared for the soul, the
body and the pocket by Mary O’Regan

Silver and
Salets: references to metals for display, adornment and protection
by the Society’s President, Peter Hammond
