21 June 'Packhorses and Packroads' – Wendy Freer, an Adult Education Lecturer will remind us of the method of transport used during the medieval period. She will also enlighten us on how animals were prepared for the long drive to distant markets and how travellers found their way across desolate moors.
July Date and Location TBD
A guided walk of Medieval Warwick or Lincoln – our Chairman, Richard Smith, has kindly agreed to guide us on another walk. Lincoln, Warwick, or somewhere else you think is interesting. Let me know your preferred place and date in July.
