Award for a tireless worker

the Society’s contact in Fotheringhay has been made a
Member of the British Empire
in the Queen’s Birthday Honours announced today,17 June 2006

The work that Juliet has done for the village of Fotheringhay, for the church and 
for the Society is prodigious and this is an honour well deserved. 

The Society was happy to be a sponsor when her nomination was first suggested.
